Chance UK is a registered charity that organises mentoring programmes for 5-11 year olds with behavioural difficulties who are at risk of developing anti-social or criminal offending behaviour later in life. Our innovative, individually tailored programmes are delivered by carefully screened and trained volunteer mentors who are closely supervised and supported in their work. Chance UK visit to CFA

Development Manager Jo Hobbs of Chance UK (fourth from the left) visited Children and family Action to present their Volunteer Mentoring Programme to staff and partner agencies.  CFA have decided to roll out a similar program in the Holderness area. This will commence in April 2008 with the appointment of a Volunteer Mentor Program Manager (See Recruitment). Once in post volunteer mentors will be recruited and trained. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new supportive activities for young people in Holderness. For more information please visit the Chance UK website, www.chanceuk.com
